Amgen has a proud history of working with patient organisations in Australia to provide information, support and resources that improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survival.

Our relationships with patient organisations are guided by the principles outlined in the Working Together - A Guide to Relationships Between Health Consumer Organisations and Pharmaceutical Companies, developed by the Consumers Health Forum of Australia, Medicines Australia, and other stakeholders.

These principles reflect common values of honesty, integrity, trust, respect, maintenance of independence, equity, transparency and mutual benefit. A copy of the Working Together guide can be found at the Consumers Health Forum of Australia and Medicines Australia websites.

In line with our obligations under the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, Amgen Australia reports annually on the health consumer organisations (HCOs) to which it provides financial support and/or significant direct/indirect non-financial support.  These reports are published online and can be found here.
